Q: I have filled out the Contact Form. Now what?

A: I will promptly review your information and contact you as soon as possible. 


Q: Do you work with animals besides cats and dogs?

A: Yes! While I specialize in these two species, I am willing and able to work with any domestic mammal, bird, or reptile.



Q: Are cats really trainable?

A: Definitely! The same basic principles for dog training can be applies to cat training as well. 


Q: I am the only person who can safely handle my pet. How will we be able to train them?

A: We will find the method that works best for your pet. This can mean utilizing phone or video calls, sessions separate from your pet, acclimating your pet to me, or some combination thereof.


Q: Where are you located?

A: I do not (yet) have a training facility. I offer services over the phone, via video call, in person in the home, or in person in a dog-friendly public space. For my mailing address, visit the Contact Page.


Q: Do you offer pet sitting or pet boarding?

A: I do not. My focus is on training and behavioral work. 


Q: How long will training take?

A: It depends on the you and your pet's goals and needs. Simple subjects may take only one short consultation or in-person session, while complicated behavioral issues can take multiple sessions over several weeks or months. 


Q: Do you offer discounts?

A: I try to offer my services at or below the average rate. If cost is a limiting factor, please continue to fill out the Contact Form and I will reach out to you.


Q: My pet just bit someone and I need assistance now. What do I do?

A: Contact your local Animal Control at to report the bite. Contact information for surrounding counties is listed below. They will provided assistance and information. Once you have done so, fill out the Contact Form and I will reach out as soon as I am able. Animal bites are very common and I have worked with many bite cases in the past. 


Q: I'm having trouble affording or finding time to provide for my pet's needs. What can I do?

A: Fill out a form on the SPCA of Wake County's Helpline. They can provide resources and recommendations to assist with your problem.
